It is with sadness that I report the passing of our oldest and long serving delegate Joe Young.

He passed away on Tuesday at the age of 90.

A very Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year to all our league members, from the committee.

The funeral of Francis Calter will take place on Tuesday the 28th November at Holy Family Church, Lily Lane, Platt Bridge at 11am. Then at Wigan Crematorium at 12pm.

Followed by reception at Bickershaw Labour Club.

It is with great sorrow that I have to inform you that our Chairman Francis Calter passed away this morning.

Francis has been involved with our league for many years and served as our Chairman for the last 22 years.

On behalf of you all I will pass on our sincere sympathy to his wife and family.

Presentation Night 2023 will be held at Hindley Community Sports & Social Club
on Friday, 10th November, at 8pm.
